Let's take a quick look at what happened in AWS-land last week. I recently discovered a brand-new set of in-depth AWS articles from Intense School. I am more than happy to include informative, relevant, and timely articles from other partners, bloggers, and so forth. Monday, September 22	The AWS Windows and .NET Developer Blog talked about Object Lifecycles. The CloudCheckr Blog talked about how CPXi Uses CloudCheckr to Reduce Their Costs on Amazon Web Services by 40%. Intense School published Understanding AWS Tools for Windows PowerShell - Part I. Late last month, the CloudEndure Blog published a list of 7 Must-view Cloud Migration Presentations and Top 7 AWS AMIs to Secure Your Application Stack.
Tuesday, September 23	We announced that the Amazon Linux AMI 2014.09 is Now Available. A guest post on the AWS Startup Collection from AlertLogic presented A Users Guide to Cloud Security for Startups. Intense School published Understanding AWS Tools for Windows PowerShell - Part II. The Cloudability Blog wrapped up a series of posts on the The Five Stages of AWS Cost Efficiency with a post on Understanding the Business Value of Increasing Cloud Spending.
Wednesday, September 24	We announced that the AWS Console Mobile App Now Supports DynamoDB. We welcomed the First AWS Community Heroes. The AWS Security Blog reminded you not to Forget to Enable Access to the Billing Console!. The AWS Mobile Development Blog talked about Understanding Amazon Cognito Authentication. Intense School wrote about Understanding IAM - Multi-Factor Authentication.
Thursday, September 25	We issued an important EC2 Maintenance Update. We announced New Resource APIs in Version 2 of the AWS SDK for Ruby. We published a new Internet of Things (IoT) page. Intense School wrote about Understanding IAM Roles. The Cloudability Blog told you Why you Need to buy AWS Reservations More Than Once A Year. The Evident.io Blog talked about the AWS security model in a post titled Shared Responsibility... not Absolved of Responsibility.
Friday, September 26	The AWS Big Data Blog talked about Using Amazon EMR with SQL Workbench and other BI Tools. We added new AWS Customer Succcess Stories from AdRoll (online advertising platform), Alcatel-Lucent (OpenTouch Video Store), and G+J Uitgevers (scalable website hosting). The Intense School wrote about Understanding IAM Server Certificates. Last week AWS Marketplace added new products including Agile WorkPort from Cognizant Technology and WebSphere Application Server Liberty Profile from MidVision Limited.
