Together, we have developed Chef Fundamentals, a self-directed online course based on our instructor-led Chef Essentials training. This Udemy course offers a balanced mix of instructional video and hands on labs and is a great option for those who prefer an anytime, anywhere learning experience. With this partnership, Chef is leveraging the expertise of awesome training professionals from Udemy and TechnoTrainer, resulting in an excellent addition to the Chef curriculum.

This Chef Fundamentals class will cover the basics of infrastructure as code. You will start by learning about Chef architecture and the tools included in the ChefDK (Chef Development Kit). Then, you will learn how to use a Chef Server to distribute your cookbooks to multiple servers as you push your application to production. This is a comprehensive course and we expect it to take a minimum of 12 hours to complete.
This course has been designed for DevOps engineers wanting to learn configuration management with Chef, and for Operations and Development personnel wanting to become DevOps engineers.
