Upcoming Open Source Cloud Events [feedly]

Upcoming Open Source Cloud Events
http://buildacloud.org/blog/280-upcoming-open-source-cloud-events.html

This fall I am excited for the second round of open source events.

LinuxCon North America and Cloud Open - New Orleans, LA - September 16-18

Looking for deep technical content? LinuxCon North America has teamed up with the Linux Plumbers Conference on a shared track, offering even the highest level developers the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge on core development.

One flight, one venue, 100+ sessions (ranging from tutorials to deep technical dives and everything in between) and 1000 Linux comunity members to collaborate with. If Linux is your job, this is a conference you can't afford to miss.

CloudOpen will be held in conjunction with LinuxCon again this year, and LinuxCon attendees have full access to the CloudOpen conference including 55+ breakout sessions, attendees, and even more collaboration opportunities.  Did we mention that's at no additional cost?  One low registration fee gives you full access to both conferences.

Xen Project User Summit - New Orleans, LA - September 18

The Xen Project creates an industry leading open source hypervisor that is powering some of the largest clouds in production today. During 10 years of development, Xen has been used for many different use cases covering datacentre and server virtualization, cloud computing, desktop virtualization,  security for desktop computing and within hardware appliances. The Xen Project User Summit is a one day event that brings together Xen users - from beginners to power users - and some of the Xen Project's developers. User Summits are about learning, sharing best practices and experiences, updates on the latest developments, collaboration and above all to have fun and to meet the community that defines the Xen Project.
