Nicole Forsgren, Chef's Director of Organizational Performance and Analytics, has published an article, "DevOps and the bottom line." In it, she explains how DevOps gives companies a competitive advantage that far surpasses what traditional approaches, such as buying new hardware, can do.  For example, companies that adopt DevOps can deploy hundreds or even thousands of times a year and can run real-time experiments to learn what features their customers really want. According to data, high-performing DevOps teams are more agile, with reports of a 30x increase in deployments, as compared to companies that haven't adopted DevOps.
