We are excited to announce that this year, we are combining RICON East and West into one unified event! On October 27-29, RICON will take over the Palms in Las Vegas and bring together a larger group of engineers, developers, industry leaders, partners, customers and community members to discuss a wider variety of topics related to distributed systems and networks.

The distributed systems ecosystem is continuing to grow and evolve, so we thought what better way to celebrate than with our largest conference to date.

We're kicking off RICON with a one-day training on October 27, before diving into two days of keynotes, in-depth sessions, technical tracks, panel discussions, after parties and more. We hope that you will join us once again.

Tickets are on sale now, with early bird discounts available until September, so get 'em while they're hot! You won't want to miss out on all the fun activities we have planned, from some great conference sessions to legendary after-parties.

The call for proposals is officially open and we are accepting submissions until August 18 at 11:59 p.m. PT. We want to hear about all the ways you apply distributed systems and networks, how you've solved problems in your data center, or how you're using Riak and Riak CS. If you have an innovative, inspiring or educational story about any and all of the above, we welcome you to submit to our Dev, Ops or Business tracks.
